Vietnam's Southern province of Bac Lieu has declared that blue-ear disease in pig herds is basically under control.

The Animal Health department in Vietnam's Southern province of Bac Lieu has declared that blue-ear disease in pig herds is basically under control.

To prevent a recurrence, the department said it would raise pig farmers' awareness of hygiene issues and ensure pig pens were regularly disinfected and cleaned.
