Widespread raised rhomboid lesions on the carcass are typical of Erysipelas. The causative agent is Erysipelothrix rhusiophathiae.
The cutaneous form of the disease is usually associated with acute episodes, with very characteristic diamond-shaped (rhomboidal) lesions spread throughout the body.
