African swine fever (ASF) virus typically causes haemorrhagic lesions in the renal lymph nodes, amongst other lesions. In the image the peritoneum has been removed to expose the hemorrhagic lymph nodes. Differential diagnose must include anticoagulant toxicity and non-specific septicemia.
