This lesion, found in a pig's kidney at slaughter, is consistent with a hydronephrosis.
The kidney shows retention of urine due to ureteral obstruction by stones or to ureteral inflammation.
The lesion in this case is unilateral, and the difference with the other kidney is enormous.
