Rotavirus diarrhea. Translucent intestine in nursing piglets caused by the destruction of intestinal villi due to virus replication.
Presence of vomiting and then diarrhea in the first days of life of piglets.
Differential diagnosis should include porcine epidemic diarrhea (PED). PED also causes diarrhea in sows, while rotavirus only affects the piglets.
