This is a case of mulberry heart disease that is produced by vitamin E and Selenium deficiency. This deficiency damages the cardiac blood vessels. This is observed grossly as hemorrhages. The differential diagnosis includes any disease causing hemorrhages (CSF, ASF ...), however, the macroscopic lesion is highly suggestive of mulberry heart disease and little of other diseases.
