Information
Hyostrongylus rubidus worm affects the stomach of pigs. Its importance and pathology are not well known. Its color makes it highly visible in the stomach during a necropsy.

- Raising pigs outdoors on pasture.
Diagnosis
- Fecal analysis looking for eggs. Necropsy for worm in stomach.
Control/Prevention
- Limit pigs' access to pasture.
- Use of anthelmintic.
