Feedback

The feedback is based on giving the animals substrates with a high amount of microorganisms in order to try that they develop immunity. To this end, normally the faeces of infected animals are used, because high amounts of microorganisms are eliminated through them. This kind of handling is normally carried out in the case of the gilts, in order to adapt them to the new germs of the farm in which they will be introduced or, in the case of the sows, a little time before the farrowing, in order for them to reinforce their immmunity and, in this way, they will be able to pass it on to their piglets through the colostrum and the milk.
