Meat exports from Russia are up 30% from 2020.

By November 28, exports of Russian agricultural products totaled $31.2 billion, which exceeds the total for the entire previous year.

Over the last 5 years, production in the swine industry has increased by 39% (1.5 million tonnes).

According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the total number of pigs at the beginning of November was 5.98 million. This is 3.2% less than a year ago.

The Ministry estimates that in 2021 the production of pork products will remain at last year's level.

In January-August 2021, Russia exported 4.2 million tons of agricultural products to the European Union, which is 2.9% more than in the same period of 2020.

As of October 18, the disease has been found on as many as 112 swine farms.

According to the head of the Ministry of Agriculture, the number of ASF outbreaks in the country is down from last year, but the risk of disease spread remains.
