In 2015, the French pig exports fell by 6%.

55% of the pork produced by Chile was exported, reaching USD457 million, so the Chilean pig industry has become established as a meat exports leader.

Due to weak demand and lower unit values, poultry and products are decreased $400 million to $4.8 billion, while pork is forecast $100 million lower to $4.3 billion.
