The Department of Internal Trade (DIT) under the supervision of the Commerce Ministry has adjusted down the recommended prices for eggs by 10 satang per unit and for pork by 5 baht per kilo due to higher production.

In accordance with preliminary figures from the German Federal Statistics Office, the volume of pork exportations was 2,52 million tons, which represents an increase of 4% compared with the year before.

In the first two months of 2011 imports of fresh and frozen pork into the UK totalled 56,000 tonnes, representing an increase of four per cent on year earlier figures.
