She survived for five weeks buried in Chinas Sichuan earthquake on 2008 and now he's risen to fame at the top of China's popularity charts.

Her name is "Zhu Jianqiang" which means "Strong-Willed Pig." And, well, she really is a pig.

She was named Chinas most inspirational animal of 2008 in an on-line poll for his great spirit of never giving up.

This animal's claim to fame was surviving for 36 days on just rainwater and a bag of charcoal. He lost two thirds of his body weight and almost died.

After his rescue, a local businessman sold her to a museum commemorating the earthquake—and they guaranteed he wouldn't be made into Sichuan pork.

But after her rise to fame in the museum, our animal hero has lately gone from friendly to downright grumpy.

It's the ugly side of fame, and her keepers say she has become fat and lazy and doesn't want to go on his daily walks. So, its just two meals a day for her from now on.
