28-Nov-2017 d.burchI can confirm that the British are sensitive to boar taint and my family are prime examples. They vote with their feet and only buy Danish bacon from the supermarket. If this is to be phased out as early as next year (an apalling thought) then is there a market niche for gilt-meat bacon etc and ham? This could be potentially 25% of the market, 5-8 times the organic market even, so could have some potential and satisfy the 25% that are sensitive to boar taint.
